We are a highly experienced, Leeds based company covering West Yorkshire and the surrounding area. we have accreditation from MCS, REAL assurance, Sanyo Premium Installers scheme, NAPIT, and the Guild of Master Craftsmen.

Experience

Leeds Solar installed our first solar system in 2008, and were the 3rd company in Leeds to become MCS accredited solar PV and solar water heating installers in 2010.

By the end of 2011 Leeds Solar had installed 340kWp of solar PV, or over 1500 solar panels for customers as diverse as the Freemen Street Market in Grimsby, the Quaker Meeting House opposite Leeds University, and Voodoo Cafe in headingley, as well as several farms and almost 100 private homes. We have experience of installing solar PV systems onto both single phase and 3 phase grid connections, and pretty much all roof types, including metal roofs, slate, Yorkshire stone, Cotswold slate, clay rosemary, clay pantile, concrete double roman, trussed, metal framed, hipped... basically we have experience of installing on virtually every roof type.

Ownership

Leeds Solar are owned and run by Gavin Andrews, a BSc (hons) Environmental Management graduate with well over a decade of training and professional experience working with and promoting the use of renewable energy technologies. Leeds Solar aims to provide the most appropriate solar solutions for our customers at the best possible prices to ensure that saving the planet needn’t cost the earth.

Leeds Solar aim to offer a friendly, efficient and professional service with flexible site survey and installation date options to suit you, including evening and weekends.

We use remote surveys & 3d modelling to enable us to provide customers with a personalised system design, detailed quote and performance estimate, usually within 3-5 working days, with a home survey arranged if you're happy with the quote to verify our measurements and confirm the suitability of the roof structure and electrical connections.

We only use trained, experienced installers and systems designers for our home surveys, with a no hard selling, no commission sales people policy, we let our high quality systems and low prices do the selling for us.
