Solar PV installations are eligible for 100% capital allowances tax relief

Commercial solar PV installations are usually eligible for 100% Capital Allowances, giving an effective 25% tax offset for the entire solar PV installation cost.

3-5 year payback times are now typical for high energy users who use their capital allowance relief.

All systems are also eligible smart export guarantee payments for any generation that isn't used in the premises.

Roof mounted solar panels

Roof mounting is the standard mounting option where sufficient suitable roof space is available.

Mounting options are available for corrugated metal, fibreboard, wood frame, steel frame, slate, Yorkshire Stone, clay and large flat roofs.

We do not install on old asbestos sheeting roofs, and recommend either the roof is resheeted first, or we can offer a ground mount or tracker option.

Planning permission is usually not required for roof mounted systems as they class as permitted development other than for listed buildings, or solar panels facing a road in a conservation area.

Ground Mounted Solar Panels

Where unshaded land area is available, ground mounting is a simple solution that guarantees perfect orientation and slope angle to improve the generation from your solar system.

Our mounting method is a fast, effective low cost solution suitable for all but the boggiest of ground conditions though the ground must be relatively flat.

Costs for ground mounted systems are similara little higher than roof mounting costs due tothe additional ground works, and higher costs for the mounting frame.

Planning permission is usually required for any ground mounted systems, which our team will assist with obtaining.
